Mass Transit Bill Advances 

Mass transit advocates rallied at the Indiana Statehouse Wednesday in celebration of the House Ways and Means passage of HB1011, with a vote of 20-2, allowing for a voter referendum giving local residents a voice on future funding of mass transit in central Indiana. Next up, a floor vote by House. And, if it succeeds there, it is on to the Senate.
