This addition to the Mass. Ave. pub scene offers some of the best pub food around, including great fish and chips, authentic neeps and tatties (turnips and potatoes), mince (well-braised beef) and one of the best burgers in the city--a huge, crisp disc you have to fold over to get on the bun. With an impressive selection of imported beers, including over 15 Scottish beers (many of them on tap), MacNiven's atmospheric sound of clinking mugs raised in toasts sets the mood in this loud, raucous, and fun place to watch the game--even if it's not soccer.
