Local writer Corey Michael Dalton will be locked up in the plate-glass window of the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library with a 24/7 live feed via webcam for the 30th Anniversary of Banned Books Week. Banned Books Week was started in 1982 and is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read and the importance of the First Amendment. This event runs from Sept. 30 - Oct. 6 and will feature special library hours Noon to 7 p.m. daily as well as special programing nightly 5 p.m. to 7pm.
