In an effort to unclog the bottleneck that prevents so many of these stories from reaching a broader audience, we are unleashing a new feature: NUVO Lightning Talks.
Each week on Friday morning, we will visit a someone somewhere in Indy and tackle five questions in five minutes.

I hope this project will illuminate more of The Circle City's fascinating characters, people who all too often fester unattended in my inbox.
Today we met with Terry Moore, Executive Director and Founder of Beacon of Hope Center for Women, a domestic violence outreach center on the westside of town.
