Teacher and librarian Shirley Mullin knows children and knows books; the best possible combination for someone who owns and operates the city’s only bookstore devoted to children’s literature. For more than a decade, this small store has been a neighborhood haven for Meridian Kessler residents, as well as visitors from all over Indy. Bursting at the seams with the type of creativity all kids need to spark imagination, the books here are carefully selected, many with local themes or by local writers, and the store carries a wide selection for various age groups.
