Phone: (317) 285-8977

Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated holiday commemorating the ending of slavery. From its Galveston, Texas, in 1865, the observance of June 19th as the African American Emancipation Day has spread across the United States and beyond. The celebration commemorates African American freedom and emphasizes education and achievement. Come join us for” Juneteenth for the 21st century” in which we’ll not only celebrate African American freedom but also various independence days of cultures around that world that can be found right here in Indianapolis. This event is FREE and includes a wide variety of ethnic foods, entertainment, music and more!
