VIOLINIST LEILA JOSEFOWICZ FORCED TO CANCEL APRIL 9-10 PERFORMANCES WITH INDIANAPOLIS SYMPHONY DUE TO ARM INJURY

Pianist Adam Golka Will Replace Josefowicz and Perform Beethoven First Concerto

INDIANAPOLIS - Due to an arm injury, violinist Leila Josefowicz will be unable to perform in concerts with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra on Friday and Saturday, April 9 and 10. She will be replaced by the American Pianists Association’s 2009 Max I. Allen Classical Fellow Adam Golka, who will perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 under the baton of guest conductor Mark Wigglesworth. Golka’s appearance with the ISO is supported by The DeHaan National Orchestra Program of the American Pianists Association.
