ISO performs 'Music of the Czars' 

The Indianapolis Symphonic Choir and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra will come together to perform Russian masterworks by Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev and Borodin in a Classical Concert called "Russian Nights: Music of the Czars." Conductor Carlo Rizzi and mezzo-soprano Mariana Karpatova will make their ISO debuts in concerts that include "Polovtzian Dances" from Prince Igor and Symphony No. 2 in C Minor ("Little Russian"). Shows are May 28, 11 a.m. and May 29-30, 8 p.m. at Hilbert Circle Theatre, 45 Monument Circle. Tickets are $10-$44 for Thursday and $16-$68, with $10 student tickets, Friday and Saturday.
