Ludwig Van Beethoven’s larger than life Third Symphony was originally pledged to the freshly victorious war-time mastermind, Napoleon Bonaparte. Comparatively, Johannes Brahms’ touching Violin Concerto was an individual devotion, a lively piece of music dedicated to a close and personal friend. Star violinist and a long-time friend of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Joshua Bell, joins new conductor Krzysztof Urbanski in a program of heroic musical dedications that is sure to an emotional and unforgettable experience.
