Inspired by Ibsen

Here’s an opportunity to see one of the city’s most intriguing new theater groups in one of the city’s most historic settings. NoExit Theatre’s Nicole Gatzimos has teamed with Nina Ryan to create Eleanora, a play inspired by Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House, to be performed at the Morris-Butler House Museum.
Gatzimos and Ryan call Eleanora a reinvention of Ibsen’s classic, a 90-minute production combining theater and dance.
Eleanora will be performed April 17-19 and April 24-26 at 8 p.m. Admission is $15 ($10 for students) and the Thursday performances are half price. For ticket and other information, call 317-985-6859 or go to noexit.org. The Morris-Butler House is located at 1204 N. Park Ave. n
