Changes at Adam's of Zionsville
Michael "Mick" David joins Adam's as the new executive chef. Mick brings 12 years of culinary experience to his role, having developed his art while serving in various chef positions at Peter's Restaurant and Bar, Panache Restaurant, Cafe Patachou and Persimmons. He has been featured in various articles and reviews in the Indianapolis media, and has participated in fund-raising activities such as Taste of the Nation, Taste of Indianapolis and Taste of Carmel. Michael graduated from Marion College with a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1990, before beginning his cooking career at Peter's. In addition to Chef Mick's appointment, Jennifer Wittman joins Adam's in the role of general manager. Jen has extensive restaurant experience in a variety of roles in the restaurant industry, including owning and operating her own catering business in Los Angeles. Jen graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a bachelor's in psychology in 1997, and earned an associates of art in culinary arts from the Art Institute International in Los Angeles, Calif., in 2001.
Adam's wine dinner to feature wines from Midnight Cellars, Paso Robles
Adam's is offering a five-course wine dinner prepared by their new chef, Mick David, on Tuesday, July 29. Wines will be presented by Midnight Cellars winemaker Rich Hartenberger. New menu items at R-Bistro
Inspired by her recent vacation to the beaches of South Carolina, Chef Regina Mehallick will be introducing a new menu for the rest of this week featuring some favorite dishes from her old stomping ground. With offerings from land and sea, dishes will include such items as deviled crab cakes with plantation slaw, grilled quail, fried green tomatoes and BBQ shrimp. The new menu will be available for dinner starting Wednesday, July 16 through Saturday, July 19. Please call 423-0312 for reservations.
