The Indianapolis LGBT Film Festival is a cinematic celebration of lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgendered communities. It returns to venues around the city this November 9-11. There's something for everyone there, as the Fest aims to be a platform for diversity in film and culture. The 12th annual event is a fundraiser for the Indiana Youth Group, a non-profit organization founded in 1987 to serve the needs of Indiana’s LGBT teens. IYG provides a safe place, a confident environment, and services that foster self-esteem, resiliency, and positive decision-making skills among self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender young people. All of IYG’s operating budget is raised annually from donations, grants and special events like the Indianapolis LBGT Film Festival.
