IDADA First Friday art walk 

There are a wealth of visual arts openings to enjoy in galleries this week, as IDADA, the downtown gallery association, throws its monthly First Friday festival Feb. 6.

Ruschman Gallery (948 N. Alabama) presents Portfolio I, a group show featuring new prints by Ruschman stablemates Dorthy Stites-Alig, Robert Eagerton, Peg Fierke, Tamar Kander, Tom Keesee and the collaboration of Barry Gealt and Arthur Liou. Artists' reception from 5-9 p.m.

Over at iMOCA (340 N. Senate), abstract graffiti artist Ish (Ismael Muhammed Nieves) transforms the entire gallery into his "crib," incorporating street-inspired paintings, sculpture and installations for a show called Das my i$H. Reception from 6-8 p.m.

AV Framing Gallery in Fountain Square (1139 Shelby St.) celebrates its second year with a show by Brian Duff. Home, Spot, Figures is a selection of works that aim to express individuality and loneliness. Reception for the artist, 5-9 p.m.

And while you're in Fountain Square, stop by ALCHEMY art + aesthetics in the Murphy Arts Building (1043 Virginia Ave.) for an exhibition of furniture designed by Erin Behling. A reception for Circa Sixty runs 7 p.m.-midnight.

Also, check out a new gallery in the Fountain Square/Fletcher Place neighborhood called Chaos (630 Virginia Ave.). There will be a First Friday reception from 6-10 p.m.

Constance Edwards Scopelitis and Laura LaForge present Dangled and Tangled at ARTBOX in the Stutz Building (217 W. 10th St., Suite 125). The exhibit is made up of new figurative paintings about human relationships. Opening reception 5 p.m.-midnight.

And don't forget to stop by the Harrison Center (1505 N. Delaware) for new work by David Kleeman and Mark Alan Miller in the Harrison Gallery. Also: Cargo, new work by Toni Hook in Gallery No. 2, and Magnetic Aesthetic, new work by Tre Reising in Hank & Dolly's Gallery. At the enROUTE Gallery: Blues Image, ceramic functional pieces, mosaics and quilt-inspired textile pieces created by VSAI's Urban Artisans in honor of Black History Month. Receptions in all galleries from 6-9 p.m.
