High Five: Churchill (Slideshow)

Churchill discuss their favorite albums.
I love the production of this record and how all of the instruments sound and fit together. I also love the use of organic percussion, all the claps, tambourines and auxiliary percussion. Overall, i just love the songwriting and melodies. -Joe Richmond (drums)
I have always wanted to make music that sounds like her music. She uses really simple melodies to bring out emotion and I love the way she uses her voice, it's minimal and powerful. - Bethany Kelly (vocals, keys)
Instrumental music has always been my favorite to listen to. There are so many different genres and various guest artists on the record and it makes the record interesting. Whether it is solos or melodies, Chris Thile always blows me away. ~Mike Morter (mandolin)
The first time I heard this album I was a junior in high school. I hated it for about two weeks and then it just clicked with me. Beautiful songs, great production. It's a perfect album for any mood I'm in. -Tim Bruns (vocals, guitar)
