, played Off-Broadway at the Triad Theatre and combines poetry and theater. Directed by Tony Award-winning Trezana Beverley, Give Me the Mic!
uses Shene’s poetry to create the narrative of a young African-American woman’s journey in search of courage and self-worth. Give Me the Mic!
