Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre will be opening rehearsals to the public in advance of the premiere of Hancock’s latest offering, SUPERHERO: the story of a man called Jesus. This is an unusual opportunity to see a work in progress and to gain insight into GHDT’s creative process.
Rehearsals will be open to the public July 25 and Aug. 8 beginning at noon and concluding at 2 p.m. The general public is welcome to attend, as are religious groups. Rehearsals will take place at The Performer’s Edge, located at 12995 Old Meridian St. in Carmel.
A preview performance of selected scenes from the production will be presented at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Aug. 11 at 7:30 p.m.
