Gather for a discussion of journalism in Indianapolis over the past several decades. Georgia (now 86) was a reporter for the Indianapolis News for six years in the 1950s. (She later worked for Mutual Broadcasting in Washington, D.C., before returning to her home town.) Georgia’s book provides rich details of her years as a reporter, with many humorous anecdotes of her encounters with the famous film and TV stars of that time. Many of those we hope will be in attendance worked in radio, TV, or for the News, Star, or Times during her era, or in the intervening decades, or are currently employed in radio, TV, or print.
