The Vogue, one of Indy’s premier concert venues, will host an array of jam, funk, and electronica tonight.
Hailing from Athens, OH; Papadosio are rapidly gaining control of the Midwestern music festival circuit. Already having played for Summer Camp and Springfest, milestones on the remainder of their summer tour include All Good in West Virginia, Forecastle in Kentucky, and Camp Bisco in New York.
Papadosio draw on elements of classic guitar jams and tranquil roots music. Intertwining this solid foundation of rock with modern electronica (i.e. heavy synths and samples), the band has found a niche in the gray area between the standard jam band-loving hippie and the conventional clubber.
Listen to these two tracks from their April performance at Muncie’s Springfest.

THE TWIN CATS
Arguably one of Indy’s best live bands, The Twin Cats will bring their ever-evolving, face-melting funk to their dedicated local fanbase for the second weekend in a row. Last Saturday, The Cats performed to a full house of hot and sweaty dirty dancers at The Mousetrap. The show, complete with crowd surfing, endured until the bar closed at 3 in the morning.
Funky bass and trippy keys saturated with experimental, mind-blowing saxophone are the distinct characteristics of The Twin Cats sound. Finish with solid beats, expert guitar playing, and sexy, raspy vocals for an engaging live show like you’ve never experienced before.
Local band EN2 will open for Papadosio and The Twin Cats.
And when you're done getting your face melted at The Vogue, mosey on over to Tru Nightclub on Guilford Avenue for the Papa-Cats afterparty. Dubstep DJ Psynapse will headline with support from Manic, Big Kyle, and UPS.
