Franchitti ends racing career

Dario Franchitti, three-time Indianapolis 500 Champion and four-time IndyCar Series Champion, announced today that he'll no longer compete as a driver. After sustaining head and spinal injuries in a violent crash during a race in Houston, his doctors have advised him to give up his career behind the wheel.
