FORUS delivers hot product to NUVO

Earlier this year, the NUVO news desk covered the incredible success of FORUS Athletics, a new sportswear company, in its initial crowdsourced fundraising - they surpassed their $40,000 goal by more than $8,000! With that money, some of which came from News Editor Rebecca Townsend, who decided to support local business and update her training kicks at the same time, FORUS was able to produce its first run of shoes for sale to investors, interested retailers and to the consumer online (check out www.buy.com and www.crowdhut.com for FORUS holiday ideas). FORUS pioneer Arsene Millogo dropped in the newsroom today to drop off Townsend's shirt [and a nice bonus T-shirt!] and give a quick update on FORUS's continued progress. Teaser: The 2014 World Cup in Brazil will be SUPER stylin'.
