Steve Mannheimer, former Indianapolis Star art critic and current IUPUI professor, brings his take on still life to wUG LAKU'S STUDIO & gARAGE for the month of June. Exploring the balancing point between acction and contemplation, his compositions beg to be viewed in new ways: with attention to space and surface, the tensions between objects and metaphorical possibilities. The exhibition consists of five studies and nine titled paintings.
