First Bob, now Kristi Lee

Kristi's last day was Dec. 17, 2015

Kristi Lee announced this morning that she's exited the Bob and Tom Show. The now-former news woman on the show cracked the mic for the last time as part of the syndicated drive-time behemoth on Dec. 17, 2015 — Bob's last day, too.

Pat Carlini's in Kristi's old chair this a.m.

NUVO did an extensive interview with Bob Kevoian last month — he'd announced his intention to hang up the headphones during his induction speech into the Radio Hall of Fame.

You can read that interview here.

UPDATE: 1/11/16, 2 p.m.:

Kristi left more than 140 characters on the Q95 website:

INDIANAPOLIS, Jan 11, 2016 – – I am excited to announce that I am embarking on the next chapter of my career. After almost 28 years with The Bob and Tom Show, I have decided to pursue new opportunities in 2016.

I wish all those involved in making The Bob and Tom Show the best radio program in America continued success. I owe this part of my career to Bob Kevoian, Tom Griswold, Chick McGee, Dean Metcalf and all of those on staff. They have been family to me both on and off the air. I gained a lifetime of growth and experience for which I am extremely grateful.

I also want to thank the loyal listeners who grew up with me. YOU make the show the legend it has become!

All of you, Bob, Tom, Chick, Dean, co-workers, affiliates (especially Q95 WFBQ), fans, will forever be a part of my “story”.

Stay tuned for what’s next….
