The Indiana Fever will be looking for their second straight win at home against the New York Liberty tonight at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Both teams have struggled out the gate to a 2-3 start and will be looking to turn their seasons around. The Fever have appeared to show signs of life as of late winning their last two games. However, if the Fever want to come away with a win against the Liberty they will have to slow down guard Cappie Pondexter who is averaging 16.2 points per game and sits amongst the leagues top scorers.
The team will also need a better showing from rookie Natasha Howard. In their last game against the Connecticut Sun, Howard shot 1-5 and finished with only four points. The Fever will again most likely be without superstar Tamika Catchings who is listed as day-to-day while recovering from a sore back, according to the Indianapolis Star.
Tip-off will be at 7 p.m. and can be seen on FOX Sports Indiana.- Aaron Maxey
