The Indiana Fever moved closer to .500 after Thursday night's 82-64 win over the Chicago Sky. The victory sent Indiana into the All-Star break with a win and ended their two-game losing streak.

The Fever led by 14 heading into halftime after outscoring the Sky 24-10 in the second quarter. By the end of the third quarter Chicago had narrowed the margin to single digits.

However, Indiana was determined to right the wrongs from Tuesday's loss to the Los Angeles Sparks. The Fever dominated the fourth quarter 29-16 and cruised to an 18-point win.

"We were determined not to lose," said All-Star Tamika Catchings. "We were really looking around the room looking in everybody's eyes [and] you just saw that fire."

Fever head coach Lin Dunn also said keeping her starters fresh for the closing stretch was a priority.

''I thought as a staff we did a better job keeping our starters under 30 [minutes]," Dunn said. ''That was our goal. I thought that we were less fatigued at the end of the game.''

Indiana now sits at 11-12 and despite being under .500 they still hold the second spot in the Eastern Conference. The Fever's next game is July 22 at 8:00 p.m. in Chicago for a rematch with the Sky.
