Fever beat Mystics, 78-73

The Indiana Fever beat the Washington Mystics in the first game of the WNBA playoffs, 78-73. In the Fever's tenth consecutive postseason appearance, Fever coach Lin Dunn tallied her 21st win in playoff history, tying Mystics coach Mike Thibault for third all-time in the WNBA. Tamika Catchings set a few milestones herself, setting the all-time record for rebounds in postseason play and the most playoff double-doubles with 21. Catchings posted 22 points including 14 in 14 attempts from the charity stripe.
