The Indiana State Fair continues through Aug. 23, and capping the festival is going to be the battle between the Elvis impersonators. Talent, mimicry, costuming, pelvis-shaking and crooning will all be on display. We're partial to Scotty Zion, not only because he was kind enough to pose for our cover two weeks ago, but because he was a good sport with the frozen corndog we purchased to impersonate a microphone. That, and the fact that he's placed second a couple of times but never won, making him the Elvis impersonator nothing-but-an-underHOUNDdog. The contest takes place Aug. 23 at the Farm Bureau Building from 1-5 p.m. For more on the ISF: www.in.gov/statefair.
