Dynasty Young Rally (Slideshow)

A demonstration was held Tuesday in support of Darnell "Dynasty" Young, an openly gay Arsenal Technical High School student who was expelled last week after bringing a stun gun to school to protect himself against bullying sparked by his sexual orientation.

Kyle Casteel, a gay teen from Mooresville, Ind. spoke to supporters during the rally. "We're sick of hearing that it will get better after high school," Casteel said. "We want people to make it better now."

Kyle Dudley, 20, shouted his support at the doors of the Finney Educational Center before the school board meeting. Dudley attended the rally along with a group from the anti-bullying blog, Bully Blogs Gratuit.

The group of supporters seemed to grow after reaching the Finney Educational Center.

Young, right, participated in the rally and said he was overwhelmed by the support that was shown for him. Due to his expulsion, he plans to get his General Education Diploma and go to college.
