Dryer lint

It's a firestarter!

Hey Renee,

What are some uses for our dryer lint? We have quite a bit of it from all of our unbleached cotton diapers and are looking to re-purpose it.

Thanks a bunch!

Hey Chris, I have a few ideas for you. My Chris and I save dryer lint to use as a fire starter. You can use it as is, packed into a ball, or you can make actual fire starters using a paper egg carton and candle wax.

Since your lint is unbleached, non-synthetic materials, you can also compost it or put it out for birds to use as nesting material.

For those who are wondering why Chris may have so much lint, he and his wife recently started Sunflower Diaper Service.

Piece out,
