Donna Maureen Stader, who died in January, lived in Indianapolis most of her life and was a multimedia artist and educator for 32 years before retiring. Her fiber work, often inspired by history, literature and folklore, has been exhibited internationally. She was a UIndy graduate, a founding member of the Art Quilt Network and a 2003 recipient of a Creative Renewal Fellowship from the Arts Council of Indianapolis.
