First, as a practicing family attorney and former Small Claims Court Judge, I have the training and experience to advocate on behalf of my constituents.Secondly, I have the training and experience to listen to both sides of an issue and make an informed decision based upon the evidence presented.Lastly, I have the courage to make decisions that are in the best interests of the residents.
2.What does your district need most from the City Council?
Sustainable neighborhood and economic redevelopment initiatives.
3.What's your opinion of the 2012 budget proposed by the mayor?
There should no cuts in public transportation.The working poor depend on public transportation.Public transportation is a necessity and not an option for most of its riders.
4.What is your position on a comprehensive smoking ban?
I support a comprehensive smoking ban.Research shows that third-hand smoke poses a health threat to babies and children.
5.Do you think the city needs more police officers?
Yes, we must reduce crime in all areas in an effort to improve public safety, protect existing and attract new residents to Marion County.

No, there are some communities within District 14 that do not have sidewalks.
8. Name one project that would most benefit your district.
Community Development Corporations (CDC's) redevelopment initiatives with business opportunities for persons of color and women contractors.
