North Carolina Dance Theatre, one of America’s most acclaimed ballet companies, will present Under Southern Skies at Pike Performing Arts Center March 31 at 8 p.m.

This performance celebrates the music and artists of the South and reflects on the ever-changing landscape of the region, featuring live music by the bluegrass band the Greasy Beans and singer/songwriter Christine Kane.

• March 29-April 1, Dance Kaleidoscope will present Magical Mystery Tour at the Indiana Repertory Theatre, 140 W. Washington St. The program will feature new costumes and the music of the Beatles.

The first act, “Innocence,” is the story of our search for meaning, wonder, fun, friendship and love in the world, which we begin to discover as young adults, and Act 2, “Decadence,” explores the worlds of altered states and consciousness, influence of the material world and disappointment in expectations of love.

A one-hour Mini-Matinee at noon on Thursday is $6. Thursday’s Preview Performance is at 7 p.m., and regular performances are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $15-$36. Call the IRT at 317-635-5252 or go to
