'Crime and Punishment' at the IRT

The Indiana Repertory Theatre is presenting a 90-minute adaptation of Fyodor Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment by Marilyn Campbell and Curt Columbus Feb. 13-March 8. It is a play that examines the inner conflict between the intellectual desire to justify a crime and the spiritual desire to find redemption. A young student, Raskolnikov, and the police inspector, Porfiry, debate criminal intentions in a world gone mad with lawlessness and self-interest.

Shows are on the IRT's Upperstage, 140 W. Washington St. Tickets are $44-$49, $19 for students and children 18 and under. For tickets and information, call 317-635-5252 or go to irtlive.com.
