On Sunday, Oct. 10, Antique Helper will be holding its second Modern Design Auction at 2764 E. 55th Place (two blocks east of Keystone at the corner of 55th Place and Rural). This auction will feature a wide selection of 1930-1970s furniture, pottery, glass and collectibles.
Of particular interest for local bidders is the large collection of affordable furniture and lighting including pieces by Charles Eames, George Nelson, Herman Miller, Jens Risom, Warren McArthur, Mies Van Der Rohe, Knoll and many others.
Bring a van or a truck to haul away all your new finds. This is the chance to get that cool modern chair, desk, table or lamp you’ve been seeking.
You can preview items in the auction Friday and Saturday from 10-6 p.m. The sale starts at noon on Sunday and doors open at 10 a.m. There is a 10 percent buyer’s premium for cash/check and 12.5 percen for charge.
