The Ebony Fashion Fair, the world’s largest traveling fashion show, is celebrating its 49th year with “Stylishly Hot!” The event will hit Indianapolis Nov. 25, 8 p.m. at the Indiana Convention Center downtown, one of 200 stops around the country.
The show will feature the latest styles by world famous designers, such as Vivienne Westwood, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, Bill Blass and Lean Louis Scherrer. Thirteen models — including a full figure model — will take the runway in the designs.
Tickets include a choice of a one-year subscription to Ebony magazine or a six-month subscription to Jet magazine and chances to win round-trip air transportation for two to any destination served by American Airlines or American Eagle (in the 48 states), a 2007 Ford Edge, a one-year supply of hair care products from Soft Sheen-Carson and selected items from Fashion Fair Cosmetics.
The Alpha Phi Chi Omega Society, Delta Chi Delta Chapter is a sponsor of the event. Their founder, Elizabeth Williams, passed away last year, and this show is dedicated to her.
Tickets are $30 and available at Paris Beauty Salon (2709 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, 317-923-0848). For more information, go to www.ebonyfashionfair.com.
