“Self-deprecating” and “physical” sound like a dangerous mix, but that is how comedian Bryan Kellen describes his comedy. Add in the fact that his act is loaded with full octane energy and you’ve got every reason to worry about Kellan’s safety, if not your own.
A loose-limbed goof, Kellen flails and windmills himself through a set of stories and observations that seem to find adversity around every corner. At the 2003 Las Vegas Comedy Festival, Kellen was tagged “America’s Best Up and Coming Comedian.” Maybe Vegas ought to worry about naming Vegas’ funny comedian, but who wants to split hairs. A trophy is a trophy.
The Hollywood Entertainment Business Journal one upped them anyway, naming Kellen one of the Top 100 Comedians in the Country. See the show, name 100 better comedians and write the HEBJ for your money back. What could be safer?
