Rajeev Ram, who now calls Carmel home, is half of a doubles upset at the Australian Open. According to the ATP World Tour Website:

Two years ago, Raven Klaasen and partner Eric Butorac stunned six-time champions Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan in the Australian Open third round. Lightning has struck twice for the South African, scoring another upset of the American twins 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 alongside Rajeev Ram on Monday. It marked the third straight year the Bryans have lost in the third round in Melbourne.

Ram and Klaasen are set for a quarter-final match against seventh-seeded Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares.

Ram Tweeted just after the win:

We'll update as we get results.

Ram dropped this one on Instagram:

But, alas, the 13th-seeded Ram and Klaasen have lost to the Murray/Soares pAir.
