Winner of the 1992 New American Comedy Festival Award, Bernard Wurger will make his Buck Creek Players directorial debut with Tom Rooney’s high-energy comedy Flaming Idiots to open the Buck Creek Players’ 39th season. Carl and Phil are flaming idiots when they open a gourmet restaurant with vim and vigor, but have no idea what they’re doing. A rival business is popular because a notorious mobster was shot there over twenty years ago. What if someone could get murdered in their restaurant? It’s a farce. What isn’t?
