Best open-mic night

Niko’s Open Stage at Alley’s Alehouse

Niko’s Open Stage made the switch from Claude and Annie’s to Alley’s Alehouse — and you wonderful open mic-ers very loyally followed him over. All kinds of performers can get onstage at Niko’s Open Stage. Yup, that means singer-songwriters, kids with guitars they got for Christmas, comedians, magicians and anyone else who has a trick, tip or song to share. After the open mic-ers while away their 20-30 minutes apiece, the stage is open for an improv jam. You picked it as your favorite place to open mic in all of Indy — and that’s saying something, because this city is chock-full of open mics.
