After being knocked off the top for a year by 46 for XLVI, Robert Indiana's oft-reproduced LOVE statue reclaims its place in your collective hearts. You'll be able to see a whole lot more Robert Indiana beginning Feb. 16, when the first print retrospective of Indiana's graphic art, The Essential Robert Indiana, will open at the IMA. The show will include more than 50 works, including 20 from the IMA's collection, ranging from homages to Picasso and Charles DeMuth to 21 autoportraits created by the artist throughout his life. It'll be accompanied by a 150-page, illustrated monograph issued in both hardcover and enhanced digital formats.
