It was a good season for the ISO: ticket sales were up 18 percent, with even bigger gains in new season subscribers and student tickets. And not to dwell on any unpleasantness, but we're only two years out from a month-long lockout that saw the ISO musicians playing their own shows, making this bounceback all the more impressive. Whom can we credit for this success? Music director Krzysztof Urbanski, who signed an extension last year that'll keep him here through 2018? Time for Three, the ISO's ensemble-in-residence which has regularly headlined Happy Hour programs? New CEO Gary Ginstling? All of the above, we figure, not to mention all of you actually buying those tickets.
