Indiana Repertory Theatre

There's something to be said for stability. And excellence, too. You can expect top-of-the-line stage design, lighting, performances, etc. at just about every IRT show. And if everything on the season doesn't grab you, that's because it's a repertory theater for all of Indiana — and there are a bunch of different constituencies out there. On the calendar for next year: a play about abstract painter Mark Rothko (Red), adaptations adaptations of YA sci-fi novel The Giver and Arthur Conan Doyle's The Hound of the Baskervilles, and a piece about 1973 Atlanta in the wake of the election of its first black mayor (What I Learned in Paris).
