Best local hip-hop MC

Oreo Jones

Jones is more than a wildly popular MC — he’s a member of White Moms, a collaborator with zillions of Fountain Square musicians and the founder of the wildly successful hip-hop fest Chreece, which finished its second year in the Square with another sold-out crowd. Jones also dropped one of the most highly anticipated albums of 2016, Cash for Gold, this spring and showcased it on the road with Ghost Gun Summer through the fall. It’s no surprise that Ghost Gun Summer guys Sirius Blvck and John Stamps took second and third place in this poll: Indy loves GGS, and GGS loves it right back.

2nd: Sirius Blvck
3rd: John Stamps
