Indy Reads Books

Located on Mass Ave. the bookstore is not only a great space for a variety of local author lectures and events, it’s a source of revenue for the not-for-profit educational branch. The bookstore itself has hosted events surrounding John Green to the history of Indiana’s transgender population. The organization holds adult literacy classes — focusing on those at or below a sixth grade reading level. They also recently collected books to be part of an installation by Richard Wentworth at the IMA. Most of the books in the shop are used and donated. If you are cleaning out your library, those titles can do a world of good here.
