Yes, it hosts art classes and camps for kids and adults, but the Indianapolis Art Center can also be thought of as a giant gallery (or several smaller galleries if you prefer). This summer you can check out a typically diverse showcase for artists from around the country that's anchored by a group show, Under Construction, featuring work created using tape, debris and sod. And that's only inside: Out in the ArtsPark you can check out Lee Littlefield's whimsical sculptures that blend animal and plant life in a whimsical, Seussical fashion. Shows rotate quarterly and feature a mix of local and national artists.
