Sun King Sunlight Cream Ale

Yes, we separated “beer” and “brewery” into two separate categories since there are just so many styles of lagers and ales being cooked up by Hoosier hopmeisters. Sun King’s brew-for-all-seasons, the approachable and sessionable Sunlight Cream Ale took top honors, which is quite the feat in a craft-beer universe seemingly dominated by IPAs that value IBUs over all other qualities. Even more interesting: Cream Ale was a style that had all but disappeared from the American beer landscape when Sun King started brewing this pale offering of awesomeness.
