The Basile Opera Center is an old Greek church that was converted into an opera house in 2008. The facility serves as a home base for the Indianapolis Opera Company. The 24,000-square-foot facility, named in honor of philanthropists Frank and Katrina Basile, features large performance and rehearsal halls, business offices, community meeting areas and several gardens.
