Beginning June 6, the interactive history museum Conner Prairie will offer hot air balloon rides as part of the new exhibit 1859 Balloon Voyage
, an immersion experience that will introduce guests to Indiana's aviation history. The exhibit details the historic August 1859 launch of a manned balloon. The highlight of the exhibition will, of course, be a voyage 350 feet above the prairie on board a tethered, helium-filled balloon (balloon rides are $15; up to 20 passengers at a time for a 10-15 minute ride).
