Ask Renee: A bright idea

Where do you put 'em?

Renee -

Now that I've become convinced that CFLs are completely wrong-headed and that LED bulbs are the way to go – and if you think I'm wrong, tell me why — how do I dispose of them?

Of course I know it will be 40 years before one of those suckers burns out, time seems to go faster and faster these days.

Thanks for your advice,

Hi Don,
Happy Throwback Thursday! Check out this piece: CFL, no – LED, yes.

Short answers: no, I don’t think you’re wrong and CFLs should be disposed of at a ToxDrop or Household Hazardous Waste collection.

Piece out,
