Two Butler Theatre alumni, Zina Camblin and Michael Bachman, return to their artistic stomping ground with The Divinity of Women Project. Camblin, who has been working with New York’s Tectonic Theatre Company, brought the idea of a devised, interview-based piece dealing with women’s spirituality to Butler Theatre’s John Green. Green then turned to Bachman, who’s been directing experimental pieces for groups like Motus and NoExit. “This gives us work that takes us into the community and, at the same time, comes out of the community in a way none of our other work has done,” Green says. Performances take place in the Lilly Hall Black Box Theatre at 8 p.m. Nov. 28-Dec. 1, with 2 p.m. matinees Dec. 1-2. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students. Call 317-940-9247 or go to
