Community members came together at the right time to save Franklin's Artcraft Theatre — and, unlike with some other reclaimed houses, to keep it running as a movie theater on a regular basis. Frankin Heritage and others celebrate the theater's 90th birthday with programming that could well have gone on in the space in the beginning. Sept. 28: classic vaudeville act The Lil' Darlins (with throwback 25 cent admission). Sept. 29: Harold Lloyd's Grandma's Boy (1922), with live accompaniment and more vaudeville.
